Bijlimahadev:
Situated on a elevated hump between the
twin Valleys of Beas and Parvati, Bijlimahadev
is a perfect vintage point. It provides
a spectacular 360 degree view of the whole
Kullu region. Here is Temple dedicated
to Bijlihahadev, one of the manifestations
of Lord Shiva as a protector from the
natural calamities.
Malana Glacier: Close
proximity to the many high peaks towering
around.
Malana Village: Malana
Village is a small community of ancient
tribal people, who have a unique culture
and their very own government. It is said
that this society is the mix of the soldiers
of the Alexander the Greats Army, who
stayed back and intermarried with the
local women. This community known for
its oldest surviving democracy in the
World, said to be modeled on the ancient
Greek City states. Some also regard them
as tribe migrated from central Asia.
